On our first day in Bergamo we explore the beautiful Citta Alta and Citta Bassa, the high and low towns that make up this magical city. In the morning after a delicious breakfast in the hotel we meet our local guide and friend, Paola, who will take us through the winding streets and to some incredible churches and buildings. We will stop for a traditional snack and coffee and then continue our guided walk so we become familiar with our new home for the next few days. After a siesta we will reconvene in the foyer around 3.30 and wander down the ancient walkway to the Citta Bassa.
